Ferndale Lodge is situated just a short level walk from the centre of Ambleside, where you will find a large variety of restaurants, bars, shops and other activities to choose from.
Just a 10 minute stroll will take you to the cruise boats on Lake Windermere. If you don’t want to drive when you are here, the main bus stop is only a 2 minute walk away linking the South and North Lakes. Your host Rob has lived in the Lake District for over 27 years now and has excellent local knowledge.
So he will be only too happy to make the most of your stay in the Lake District. So if you would like a relaxed and informal stay, Ferndale Lodge is the place for you.
Ferndale lodge has 10 bedrooms, all of which offer en-suite facilities and in addition to the double rooms there are single and twin rooms as well as detached bungalow rooms.
All rooms have television, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi and the west facing rooms have splendid views.
All rooms are non-smoking and there is a pet friendly room.
